my stars ice sculpture design
I’ve included this single block star ice sculpture design (it can actually be carved from a bit more than half a block) because I carved it the other day and I’m going to use it in an upcoming entry to illustrate how to make an ice sculpture into an ice luge.
the stars ice sculpture design is a good fit for a wide variety of events: Hollywood-themed, Fourth of July, New Year’s Eve, to name just a few.
In this case, it was part of a Hollywood themed event and stars fit right in. There isn’t much depth to the stars ice sculpture design; it’s really all silhouette. If you use a half block slab for the piece, you need to attach a base for stability. This sort of design works well as flanking pieces for a more elaborate sculpture. Just reverse the design for one and put them on either side of the main piece. (See below.)
