if Santa’s special reindeer can fly, then certainly they can stand atop a Christmas wreath, right? So this reindeer on wreath ice sculpture is super-plausible then!

The thinking here was that if a reindeer could fly, he could probably also stand on top of whatever he wanted. Ta-da: my reindeer on wreath ice sculpture design.
Also, from what I hear, they’re supposed to be tiny too… This design appeared in a newsletter in 1996 along with the Snowflake from May 29. I’ll wait a little while before I add any more holiday designs…
briefly, I was adding icecarvingsecrets.com watermarks to my images. It just becomes on more step that gets in the way of finishing posts 😕 So I only do that once in a while these days.
attaching the antlers
The graphic below shows how the antlers are added. You can use a slightly warm iron to help you flat weld the antlers between the ears, as long as it will fit. As for the snowfill engraved message, if you feel it’s too politically correct, then go with “Merry Christmas!” It all depends on the client and the crowd.
how would it work on a CNC machine?
Big enough CNC? Meaning tall enough gantry to handle about an 8″ thick ice block? Then I’d go all CNC.
Not as tall a gantry? Then you could still do part of this on your CNC; maybe just not the bulk of the cutting.
