the obvious way to make the ice luge is that it goes in one end of the trumpet and out the other. But that wouldn’t work this time 🤷♂️

trumpet ice luge: more music for your mouth
Like another recent design, the piano keyboard luge, this trumpet ice luge has the funnels in the back of the sculpture. Look for a luge track diagram later. (Which I apparently never got to.) While doing the weld for the end of the trumpet, you’ll likely want to leave some extra ice around it until the weld has set. Also, making the trumpet a little thick front to back will help its longevity.
this earlier non-luge trumpet sculpture was the starting point for this design.
There are several other musical ice sculptures on the site: the piano keyboard ice luge, the saxophone ice luge and the treble clef. And if you have any questions about my trumpet ice luge design, email me or comment below. (It might not let you though; try IG if not.) If you would like to use this ice sculpture design or any other design on this site, please check the design usage guidelines. The design collection page lists designs on the site.
