my take on the heart and doves ice sculpture design
This is my version of the classic heart and doves ice sculpture design. Many other carvers have their own versions and you’ll see a number of variations, but the basic idea is the same. The first time I saw this design was in Mitsuo Shimizu’s book “The New World of Ice Sculpture, Vol. II.” (the green book) I was later able to carve it for the first time for a friend’s wedding in Dallas. Over the years, it has become easily one of the most popular pieces that I carve for weddings.
(Might help some if I were to include a blank version of the template. Otherwise, it’s only good for Cheryl’s and Brian’s wedding. I’ll fix that soon 😬)
