a decent sixty ice sculpture design for you
The only time I’ve ever carved this particular sixty ice sculpture design made for an interesting experience. I’d driven out to Albuquerque for an ice job and to visit my parents, but I’d previously made a commitment for a piece in Meridian, MS, which is about a 3 hour drive from home. Rather than driving home first, I elected to carve the piece in Albuquerque and drop the sculpture off on the way home.
Now Albuquerque is about a 17 hour drive from Meridian. So I carved the sculpture, leaving it in pieces and packed it in dry ice and insulation. When I got there the next day, the ice was so cold that the base fractured when I welded the main piece to it. The end result is, if you’d like me to drive out to Maine or Seattle to deliver your sculpture, I know how to do it, but it’s going to cost you…
you need a piece of ice for the base too! And I hate trying to figure out which font someone uses, so it’s Bickham Script Pro. You’re welcome!
