a fifteen ice sculpture for quinceañeras and more
Here’s another birthday or anniversary ice sculpture design. This one, of course, can be used for quinceañeras especially. If you don’t live in an area with a significant Hispanic population, you might never have heard of a quinceañera. In a nutshell, this special birthday celebration is similar to a sweet 16 party or a bat mitzvah in that it marks a young woman’s transition from childhood to adulthood. It can also be called “fiesta de quince años” (party of 15 years) or even just “quince,” (15).
This is one of my goto designs if someone says they want a fifteen ice sculpture. Now fifteen ice sculptures aren’t terribly popular in New Orleans, but the would be much more likely in Texas or NM, where I used to live. Shoulda come up with this design then!
