all about ice sculpting secrets

wtf is this?

In a nutshell, ice sculpting secrets is (or will be) a ton of ice sculpture designs, ice sculpture pictures, videos, and sometimes incoherent ramblings about ice sculpting. Once in a while, if you look carefully, you might find some useful info. Usually, I’m not responsible though, as I try to add as much stuff from other ice sculptors as I can. So it was probably their fault for coming up with some good stuff!

Interspersed with all of this ice sculpting mishmash, you’ll find ads for very cool ice sculpting-related companies that I actually use. You’ll also find google ads for random? companies that are probably based more on you than me. Creepy, huh? Annoying as the ads are, they are the key for me to become independently wealthy and retire to an island in the Caribbean! 🀣 Btw, if you’re a robot πŸ€– please don’t click on the ads. Nobody likes that! Actually, I’d really rather you buy the ebooks and hopefully other random ice-related things that I try to sell you. See that way, I can waste more time on this site and you can waste more time reading what I wrote and posted. Win-Win, right?

how to get the best out of this site

As time goes on, I’ll be trying to make this site more efficient. Meaning that I’ll be trying to help you find any info you’re looking for faster. Google is good for this, of course, but it’s clunky to have to go to google and come back. But see that big magnifying glass πŸ” in the upper right? That’s the search function and is pretty much the quickest way to find anything on the site right now. And you should be familiar with the hamburger icon on the upper left. If not, that’s the dropdown navigation menu for the site. And finally, don’t forget the footer, at the bottom. That’s a list of important/useful pages and sections on the site. Plus a couple of stupid ones, probably πŸ˜‰

rebooting

Maybe you’ve seen some of this before, or maybe you’re brand new here. But I learned a thing or two about what not to do with my last humongous website, ice carving secrets. So hopefully, this one sticks around for a while longer. It’s going to take me some time though just to get it back up to something like the same size as ice carving secrets. There was a LOT there and I find more every time I look back at the old files. This site is fairly large already as I write this, over 200 pages, and I’m not sure I’m even close to the halfway point yet. Plus, there is and will be new things too; how could there not be? It’s only been like 8 years…

whatever happened to ice carving secrets?

You might have no idea what I’m talking about with ice carving secrets, but if you do, you might remember that icecarvingsecrets.com used to be my pretty extensive website on ice sculpting. However, ice carving secrets fell victim to a number of things: some corrupted files, other distractions in my life, and a missed deadline or two. Basically, life stuff got in the way, I started to neglect the site, and then the base file for the whole site was somehow damaged. Rebuilding and repairing everything seemed an insurmountable task at the time, so I put it off. Eventually, I forgot to renew the domain name for my dead site 😬 and poof, that was that. Currently though, icecarvingsecrets.com is being held hostage for about $1600. My poor long lost domain name is blindfolded and living on bread and water in a dungeon somewhere! But that ransom seems kind of steep to me, so if YOU want to rebuild ice carving secrets, then set it free and have at it πŸ€ͺ Actually, I’ve long felt that I should have gone with “ice sculpting” rather than “ice carving” in the first place, so there’s my silver lining 😊

As you peruse the site though, you’ll probably run into “ice carving secrets” here and there. All the rebuilt blog entries from the old site have “icecarvingsecrets” as the author. So that’s why that’s like that, in case you cared πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

please let me know what you think

The last iteration of this site had a gallery of user submitted photos. And once in a while, I might even get a comment or two on a post. This was pretty solid evidence to me that occasionally, people actually read what I wrote and saw the posts πŸ˜‰ If you like what you see or if you don’t, please let me know. You can comment on posts or contact me directly. I’ve learned a lot of what I know about ice sculpting from other people and I’m still learning all the time. However, if you’re going to be a jerk about stuff, then keep it to yourself! Respect is key!
