many times heart ice sculptures are engraved with the names of the bride and groom. This piece instead has a spot for a small floral arrangement in the heart.

This alternate heart and doves ice sculpture design was originally published in a newsletter about July 1999.

This version of the popular piece changes the positions of the doves and uses the center of the heart as a spot for flowers.
what I like better about this version
The pose of the doves is a little more dynamic here and a thinner slab of ice can be used (but you may need to add a base for stability). When I worked in Memphis with the ice pro CNC machine, I had planned to add this design to the CNC library for that machine, as I think it would work well. But I never did, so now I get another chance now with my much newer Laguna machine ☺️
Incidentally, the sculpture is very lightweight and easy to handle with the center removed. I don’t have any pics here to prove it, but I have sculpted this version before. I enjoyed moving this version, compared to the typically much heavier classic version of the heart and doves ice sculpture.
