as you see in many things “Easter,” the outline shape isn’t an oval, it’s an egg.

This single block design was published in a newsletter sometime around Easter in 1996.
This piece can be cut thin (a 4” thick slab of ice perhaps) as long as the base is wide enough so that it’s stable (you can weld on a separate base if needed). You can either snowfill engrave the design or cut it through. If you cut it through, make sure to leave enough thickness front to back so that the more delicate parts last through your event.
Jim Ottens carved a version of my bunny sniffing flower ice sculpture where he didn’t cut through around the rabbit and flower. This version would last quite a bit longer than my original.
