Dawson List is an excellent example of an ice nerd
someone obsessed with making ice into cool shapes and understanding all the technical aspects involved thereof. (This is maybe the only time I’ll ever get to use the word “thereof.” High five!)

best international competition finishes:
2nd place, four man team, 2004 World Ice Art Championships
6th place, two man team, 2009 World Ice Art Championships
winner, 1998? Ice Carving Classic, with Greg Butauski; I have to check the year. Does last century count?
best national competition finish: 4th place, 2000 NICA National Championships
Also, a whole bunch of other competition wins and finishes that I have a stack of medals and trophies for somewhere…
